The Photographer
The photographer will be one of the few people you will spend a lot of time with during your wedding. A good way to know this would be to ask to see his or her portfolio, which will let you know of their work style and quality of work.
Pre-Wedding Meet
Make sure you meet up with the wedding photographer before the day of the wedding so you can discuss all the plans you have in mind for the Wedding Photos. Let him or her know of all the locations you want pictures to be taken at or if there are any special people you want pictures to be taken with. Lighting:
